Strange music for strange people.
Dollar Bill and The Unmentionables has been recording slightly silly music since 1989. In 2010 we started making videos to stare at while the song plays. Genre: varies, sometimes within the same song even. Be sure to check out the video page, as many of the songs have super high-budget (i.e. $0) music videos

Dr. Bob's Jazz - Benefit Boppin' Quartet - JBBQ
Jun 09, 2013
Bill this is an OUTSTANDING song. The piano with guitar has the perfect mystery mix for a thriller detective tune.
And I love puns, so your "defective" usage was a good
spoof of the theme detective. Seriously, this is a great song, and thanks for the dl.

This should be my town's theme song - Boston, where suspense is never in short supply! Awesome!

Nice. This warms or should I say chills my 'minimalist' heart. Dark enough for my tastes and with pace that breathes with fearful anticipation.

I like this even more than the theme song. The hesitant haunting piano then those simple but powerful first few guitar notes ..... and subtle extra instruments, and almost subsonic deep deep tone. Perfectly titled, perfectly composed and performed.

Very nice theme here. A soundtrack for a detective, but an old one. Especially the bass is sounding very old fashioned. And the old piano.... amazing.
Maybe the detective should be in black and white. I have to think of Hitchcock.
Everything is very simple and clear here. And the mood very strong. I really enjoyed this.
Wonderful use of tone to push just the right buttons to send chills down the spine :) nice one!
